Data Protection Privacy Policy
Protecting the privacy and personal data of my clients is very important to me. I follow best practice regarding the use of personal data and my policy is consistent with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation 2018.
I collect only the personal data supplied by you, such as name, postal address, email address and telephone number and will use it only for the purposes for which it was provided. Personal data may also include enquiries and any interaction through my website or social media page. No sensitive data is collected.
If you are aged 16 or under, you must get your parent or guardian’s permission before you provide any personal information to me.
I will never sell your personal data or share it with any other third parties unless specifically requested by you, for example to refer you to a specialist trainer or behaviourist.
From time to time I may send you information relating to my dog training but I will send no other advertising, marketing or promotional emails or letters.
All data is stored securely. I only keep clients’ information for as long as necessary. If you do not continue training with me I will keep your data for 1 year from cessation of activities and then it will be deleted.
You have the right to request access to any personal information about you which I hold and you may change your details or preferences at any time.
This privacy policy will be reviewed regularly and where necessary updated in accordance with future legislation and best practice.
